For the last 5 years, I used a traditional cold brew system that soaked coffee grinds in a steel mesh filter overnight. I needed to throw out the last cup because of residue, and waiting 12-24 hours was inconvenient. No matter how I made or bought coarse grinds for the traditional system, there was always some fine grind mixed in with the coarse grind, which went through the traditional filter.
The VINCI adds a pump to circulate the water, and cold brew coffee is ready in a few minutes rather than 12 – 24 hours. The VINCI also uses less coffee grounds, and because the water is pumped, the filter is a finer mesh, and I now can drink all of the cold brew. No more throwing out the last cup! It’s easy to use and comes apart easily for easy cleaning.
