Unfamiliar with Dr. Martens? Hip Sidekick, Chelsey, is obsessed with hers, and here’s why…

I’ll admit this is my first pair of Dr. Martens shoes, but after wearing them for even just a short while, I can say I completely understand the hype! My best friend owns a few pairs and has been a long-time fan raving about durability, quality, and style, and that is exactly what you get out of this pair.

These smooth leather heeled shoes are absolutely gorgeous in person, but they’re also so durable that I don’t have to feel worried about wearing them. Plus, I love that unlike a classic Dr. Marten boot, I can wear these shoes year-round with shorts, skirts, and so many more outfits!

TIP: If you’re in between sizes, I would consider sizing down. I ALWAYS wear a size 8, but these are a hair loose. However, I do plan on wearing these only with socks, and thick socks seem to make them fit perfectly! If any style is fitting a bit loose, consider using a pair of Docs insoles.
