Make a donation and contribute to the environment by planting your free trees from the Arbor Day Foundation!
Head over to the Arbor Day Foundation where you can make a donation ($12 minimum required) to receive a free gift of 10 dormant bare root tree seedlings AND 2 flowering bush seedlings! Additionally, you’ll receive a subscription to Arbor Day, their bi-monthly newsletter, and a free tree planting guide.
Or, you can choose to have your donation go towards planting trees in America’s forests that have been harmed by wildfires, insects, disease, and deforestation.
Hip Tip: You can choose a custom one-time donation amount for as little as $12 to qualify for the free trees. Be sure to select a one-time donation unless you want to continue donating monthly.
What trees will you receive?
You will receive tree seedlings suited to your region of the country. For example, in North Carolina, I will receive 2 flowering crabapples, 3 eastern redbuds, 2 Washington hawthorns, and 3 white flowering dogwoods plus 2 crape myrtles. Hip Sidekick, Emily, who is in New York, will receive 2 Asiatic Lilies, 7 mixed gladiolus, 10 Corn Lilies, 4 Chinchincherees, and 2 Blazing Stars.
Your selection will depend on where you live and your climate. Substitutions may also occur based on availability.
