Christine Greyson’s Latest Single, “Spider”, Will Take You To A Dark Fantasy – IndiePulse Music Magazine

Ethno-electronica music artist Christine Greyson’s latest single, “Spider”, is currently roaming on all major streaming platforms. This single is a project of her upcoming darkwave electronic goth & industrial vibe EP album that will be released in 2023.

“Spider” starts with a beautiful humming melody that suddenly changes its phase with the hit of the drums and electronic music. Throughout the song, the percussion beat remains the same, but the different loop created by the electronic music constantly gives a thrilling experience and resonates with the spiritual vibe.

“Spider” looks into the relentlessness of nature and its darker sides, specifically those that inflict harm on your well-being. It has droning guitar lines, nonstop percussion, and choir vocals. The layered vocals are captivating due to their entrancing quality; they are somewhat like spells said by a wise old forest dweller. The dark lyrics will tell you the rest of the story.

“Spider-spinning deadly lies

Spinning, spinning all the time

One hand always in the fire

One hand seems so kind.”

Christine Greyson has spent three years living without modern luxuries amid the wilderness of an old, decaying Appalachian farmhouse. During this time, the contacts with primitive wildlife and the insights inspired the lyrics and overdubs of her expanding library of experimental electronic music.

Christine’s personal musical favorites are darkwave, industrial, and metal music, as they add layers, effects, and a deeper edge to the sound. She believes that gifting the world more music is just pure magic regardless of the style or genre. We all eventually sing the same tune because every heart beats with a particular rhythm.
