At first, I was a little underwhelmed. After rereading the nutrition information, the bars tasted pretty good. Considering a no icing bar but with some chocolate pieces it was even better.
What really sold me was the bar texture. They reminded me of eating something my Mom would have made way back in the day…sort of a banana bread or a raisin loaf…a generic sweetish cakey bite of comfort. And…not horrible for you. Recommend.
As far as Keto snacks go I am familiar with the Ratio brand. I liked the overall macro-nutrient ratios and ingredients used for these bars. For me the size is just right to add as a supplement to a main meal. I will say that there is an aftertaste that is usually found with foods that use artificial sweeteners and these bars are no exception.
I bought both flavors offered by Amazon and honestly could not tell any difference. Fortunately, I am good with the overall taste. Good value when they are on sale.
